Parents of potential students must submit a completed application packet, which includes various forms plus the child’s birth certificate, updated immunization record, and a physician’s signature on a health statement. Parents must also pay a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $150 for early childhood and preschool children and $200 for elementary students. Elementary students will take an admissions test before being accepted. If the child is not accepted based on the decision of the Head of School, all of the registration fee will be returned except for the $50 testing fee.
MBCA’s Early Childhood Program provides classes for children 13 months through 2 years of age. Class assignment is based on the child’s age on September 1st of the current school year.
Assignment in a PreK-3 or PreK-4 class is based on the child’s age on September 1st of the current school year. Children in these classes must be fully potty trained.
Students must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st of the current school year and meet the academic admission requirements of MBCA.
First Grade through Seventh Grade
Students must have successfully completed the prior grade and been promoted to the next grade. They must also meet the admissions requirements of MBCA.
Enrollment decisions are made by the Head of School or Early Childhood Director after all admissions requirements have been met satisfactorily. Elementary admission is based on academic achievement, previous report cards, behavioral records, and admissions testing. Children with special needs are precious to us and are accepted if Head of School determines that we are able to meet their educational or physical needs effectively.
