Summer Reading

School might be out, but that’s no reason to put down the books! Dive in to our summer reading program!

During the summer break, MBCA encourages all children to read as much as possible. Whether it’s Christian-themed, mysteries, adventures, comedy, or just plain silliness, please take advantage of those quickly fleeting months to instill a lover for reading that will help them “grow and glow” when they return to school in the fall.

In that vein, MBCA would like to help parents in that endeavor. We will be opening the MBCA Library on Wednesday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM each week. We invite any MBCA students to come to the Library to check out books, enjoy a “Storytime,” and meet with friends.

Also, we are sponsoring and incentive program for the students. Attached please find a Reading Log form for your child. For every ten pages read and logged on the form, the students will receive 1 point. The students who accumulate the most points will receive a Top Reader award at the beginning of the next school year.

If your child cannot make it to the Wednesday time slot at the MBCA Library, we encourage your family to visit a local library or your church library to find good books for your child!
